Birmingham Mature Family – Audio & Video Excellence

For the recent Birmingham Mature Family event, Show Pro was tasked with providing a complete audio and video solution, and we delivered with precision and impact.

Audio Setup:
We knew from the start that the unique shape of the room called for specialist sound reinforcement. To meet this challenge, we deployed a powerful audio setup. On the Left and Right, we used 3x L-Acoustics MTD108s, each paired with Martin Audio 18-inch subwoofers. For the delays, we positioned Martin Audio F15+ speakers, each side supported by another pair of 18-inch subwoofers. This ensured consistent sound coverage, delivering punchy lows and clear highs to every corner of the room.

To fine-tune the system and ensure precise audio delivery, we used Rational Acoustics Smaart 9 for EQ and time alignment, optimizing the sound for the acoustics of the space. This level of control allowed us to achieve clarity and power, while ensuring even distribution throughout the venue.

Staging:
For the staging, we turned to our go-to choice, Staging Services Event Deck. Lightweight yet incredibly strong, this stage system is a favorite for its ease of use and structural reliability. The stage setup was seamless and sturdy, providing a perfect platform for the event’s activities.

Video Wall:
On the visual front, we installed our Lighthouse Technologies LED video wall, driven by a Resolume media server. This high-resolution setup ensured that video content was bright, sharp, and delivered flawlessly. Whether for live feeds, presentations, or entertainment, the video wall was the visual centerpiece of the event.

Client Feedback:
The client was absolutely thrilled with the final result, specifically noting how the sub-frequency reinforcement added depth to the overall audio experience. The quality of the sound, paired with the seamless integration of the video wall, made for a truly memorable event.
