Overview
For the fourth consecutive year, Show Pro had the privilege of working alongside Media Mania to bring the Resonate Stage at Godiva Festival to life. Tasked with making the stage bigger and better than ever—while staying within a strict budget—we provided a complete sound, lighting, video, and power package to create an impressive experience for audiences of 1,000–1,500.

The Challenge
As with every year, one of the main challenges was to balance the sound of the Resonate Stage so it remained neither louder nor quieter than the other stages across the festival grounds. By carefully controlling sound levels while still delivering a full audio experience, we ensured the Resonate Stage stood out without overpowering its neighbors.

Our Solution
We delivered a turnkey technical solution for audio, lighting, video, and rigging:

Audio Setup
To achieve clear and powerful sound within budget, we deployed a PreSonus CDL Line Array, supported by 8 PreSonus AIR 18 subwoofers for strong low-end coverage. A pair of PreSonus AIR 10s were added for center fill, all controlled through a PreSonus StudioLive 64 mixing console. This setup provided consistent audio quality across the stage while maintaining precise control of volume.

Lighting Design
For lighting, the goal was to create a dynamic, bright setup that enhanced the performances. We used a combination of:

• 6x Chauvet Legend 330SR
• 6x Equinox Fusion 140
• 4x Equinox Blitzer Impact 384
• 4x Neo Flash Strobe
• 6x Equinox Spectra Pix

This versatile setup was managed using a grandMA2 Command Wing, allowing for creative lighting effects that matched the energy of each act.

Rigging & Video
To support the lighting and audio equipment, we utilized Light Structures and Doughty Products for trussing. The video component featured Lighthouse P10FA video panels controlled by a Resolume Arena media server, ensuring clear visuals for the audience.

Networking & Integration
A robust DrayTek mesh network ensured reliable connectivity across the stage’s various elements, while Central Control facilitated seamless integration between all platforms, making show control smooth and efficient.

Results & Feedback
The production was a resounding success, with Media Mania praising the results and noting that the Resonate Stage continues to grow in quality year after year. Our ability to deliver a powerful experience while maintaining balance with the rest of the festival was a key achievement.

For Show Pro, a personal highlight was the speed and efficiency of the setup and takedown. With a small but skilled crew, we managed to complete the production load-in and load-out swiftly, underscoring our commitment to excellence and efficiency.
