Overview:
Coventry Reggae Fever, a celebration of Caribbean culture in the UK, transformed War Memorial Park into a vibrant, family-friendly gathering. With an audience of 2,500–3,000 people, the event featured lively music, delicious food stalls, and a sense of community that made it a true cultural celebration. Show Pro was proud to support this event by providing a full PA system, stage management, and crew for both the build and break, ensuring smooth execution from start to finish.

Audio Setup:
For the audio, we delivered a system designed to give crisp, clear sound throughout the venue. The main PA consisted of 12x L-Acoustics Kara (6 per side in a Left-Right configuration), providing balanced coverage across the park. To ensure the low-end was impactful, we grouped 8x L-Acoustics SB18 subwoofers in the center, while 4x L-Acoustics X12 speakers handled outfill and center fill duties. The system was driven by LA12X amplifiers and managed through LA Manager, giving us real-time control throughout the day.

For the DJs, we set up Pioneer CDJ 3000 players with a DJM 900 Nexus 2 mixer, providing the perfect platform for seamless performances. At the front of house, our team used a PreSonus StudioLive 64 console, ensuring smooth transitions and exceptional sound quality.

Additional Services:
In addition to audio, we also provided a stage manager and crew to oversee the build and break, ensuring that the event ran smoothly from setup to teardown. Our team worked closely with event organizers to ensure that everything was ready ahead of time and dismantled efficiently after the show.

Results & Feedback:
The event was a great success, with attendees praising the atmosphere and the quality of the performances. Feedback on the audio setup was particularly positive, with many complimenting the clarity and coverage across the audience area. Despite the strict noise limits imposed by the venue, we were able to maintain excellent sound quality without exceeding the required levels, ensuring a great experience for all in attendance.
